Spiritual Tarot & Guidance 18th ~ 24th January 2021
The cards for this week are: Death, The Hierophant, The Knight of Cups, New Beginnings & The Wolf
Hello everyone as always I hope this weeks reading finds you safe and well!
The first card in this weeks Spiritual Tarot & Guidance reading is the Death Card and is sometimes the most feared and misunderstood card in Tarot. Although sometimes the card can mean death and we most certainly have had a lot of it over the past months, it is not the only meaning behind this card.
May I please say at this point that my sympathies and condolences go out to all of you who have lost loved ones during the current pandemic and for any other reasons. It has touched us all in one way another including myself.
The more positive and spiritual meaning behind the Death card is one of endings and new beginnings. For change to happen something must come to an end. Change is something that is inevitable whether we choose to ignore it or try to avoid it, it will happen, it is the way we both learn and grow and it is something that we need to embrace and not fear. This I feel is the message that the spiritual and angelic realms are sending us through this card.
To support the Death card we have then been given the first of this weeks energy cards. The card of New Beginnings. It is the first of the Major arcana cards in the Psychic Tarot deck and the equivalent of the Fool card in most other tarot decks.
Our next card in this weeks Spiritual Tarot & Guidance reading chosen as always with the help and support of the spirit and angelic realms is also a Major Tarot arcana card and is the Hierophant. The Hierophant is sometimes known in tarot as the spiritual teacher.
His appearance in a reading can suggest that we are sticking to tried and trusted ways of doing things because it’s the way it’s always been done or maybe we stick rigidly to our beliefs because it is the way we have been taught or guided to in the past. For example staying in a job or career because it’s what our parents want us to do, even though we are not happy in the job and really wanting to do something else that we would love to do.
Our 3rd and final tarot card for this weeks reading is the Knight of Cups. The Knight of Cups is known and often recognised by tarot readers as the true romantic, and while for some of you there may be a new romance or rekindling of a present or previous one, I feel the main message the spirit and angelic realms wish to draw our attention to for the purpose of this reading are his other qualities. These qualities are his appreciation of beautiful things including mother nature herself. He shares and gives his love freely to others, he is imaginative and creative and follows his dreams.
Our final card for this weeks Spiritual Tarot & Guidance reading and the second of this weeks energy cards is the Wolf. The message behind this card is about using our instincts. The Wolf card I feel was chosen by the spirit and angelic realms to support the message of the Hierophant and the Knight of Cups. The Wolf can travel alone or in packs, it is a free spirit and follows no set rules or conformities.
The Wolf is loyal and protective towards his family but relies on his own instincts to survive. He does not always follow the pack although he knows there is safety in numbers. He relies on his instincts before acting or making his decisions and trusts that his instincts will help him make the right choice.
I feel the overall message that the spirit and angelic realms are wishing to portray to us in this weeks message is our need to identify and accept that change is inevitable. We need to accept that our lives are, have and always will change in some way during our current lifetime on this earth. Everyone’s life has been affect by change greatly in some way over the past months. The advice from the spirit and angelic realms is to accept it gracefully, flow with it instead of fighting against it. This is their message I feel through both the Death card and the one of New Beginnings.
Through the remaining cards The Hierophant, The Knight of Cups and The Wolf. I feel that we are being asked by spirit to not always “follow the pack” while their maybe safety in numbers it is not always the right path to follow. They wish us to be like the Wolf and the Knight of Cups to be nurturing and loving towards ourselves, our loved ones, our fellow man and the planet on which we live. They remind us that humans are not the only creation that inhabit this planet.
We are being guided as we have been before by the spirit and angelic realms also to take note of the Hierophant and not allow ourselves to get stuck in our old ways and habits of doing things because it’s the way it’s always been done, or because it was the way we were taught or told that it is the right way or only way. They are asking us to be again to like the wolf, to use and trust our own instincts, our own intuition to guide us before making decisions and moving forward with our plans.
Their message through the Hierophant is that once you have made your decision to act in any way, make sure that any advice you may need or follow is from a reliable source. Remember there are always those who “think” they know. But they may be an unreliable source. Use your Wolf instincts and intuition, and do not always follow the pack.
I hope that this weeks Spiritual Tarot & Guidance reading has helped and given you support in some way. The messages from the Spiritual & Angelic realms are always bought to you on an energy of love, compassion and understanding.
I will say it again as I always do, “take some time out for yourself, It is allowed !”
Until next time…. please take care and stay safe.
