Karma demystified… sort of!

Karma. It’s a term that gets thrown around a lot these days and many of us have a good idea about what it is…or do we?

‘Karma’ is a Sanskrit word with several layers of translation- some being  ‘wheel’, ‘balance’ and ‘debt’. The Hindu faithful use the word Karma to denote  both shallow and deep aspects of an individual soul’s journey from this life  into the next based on spiritual debt and  needed experiences. Karma is the ‘baggage’ we have as spirit souls- it is both  what we are here in this life to deal  with and what we take with us to the next. Whatever Karma you have right now  defines where you’ve been- and the Karma you have when you die defines where  you’re headed.

Let’s clear up from the get go that ‘good Karma’ is not good at all. Having  ‘good Karma’ will require a soul to take rebirth in order to burn it off. If we  want complete transcendence- zero Karma is the way to go! Good Karma and good living are two different things. We annihilate bad Karma by being good (charity, selfless service, prayer, etc.), and gain bad karma by being naughty (hate, violence, anger, envy, malice, lies, etc.).

Let’s look at this another way…

Let’s say someone is born into a socialite family- wants for nothing, gets a great education, has excellent health, general good luck, etc. We can assume  (although not absolutely define for certain) that in a past life, this person  did compassionate and selfless works that led them to a positive/good Karmic  load in this life. If all of this goes to their head- the good turns sour and  next time around they get just about the opposite to learn and KNOW the  lessons.

Now, if we look at someone who experiences about the opposite in life-  poverty, ill health, bad luck; we can safely assume that in a past life they may  have abused abundance, cosmic laws or their own life journey. It happens and  we’re ALL guilty of acting against our bigger nature. How do I know that?  because we’re all here!

Sometimes Karma can seem like such a harsh judgment! Who decides when our  actions are negative or positive? Who hands out the ruling and defines how our  next lifetime will roll so that we learn and experience all that we need to rectify toxic behaviours/beliefs and get closer to truth?

We  do!

All of our soul baggage is like a coloured filter, and our soul is  like a bright light. What we project- we attract. If we have acted against the self in a past life- or last week for that matter, a filter is created over the  light of the soul and as the light shines through it- circumstances resonant  with that behaviour come our way… in a big way. We shine forth on a subtle  spiritual level exactly who we are- and the cosmos responds to that light.

If we are impatient- we shine impatience on the subtle level and thus attract  situations that will challenge and thus heal our impatience. You know, you only  get stuck in traffic when you are an impatient person! Once you master patience there’s no need to be stuck in traffic so it doesn’t happen anymore.

The goal of understanding Karma, or spiritual debt as I call it outside the Hindu specifics of the term- is so we can understand the why’s and how’s of  life.

Nothing is chance- everything, and I mean EVERYTHING we experience comes to  us for the sole purpose of enlightening, healing and empowering us. That’s every blissful love affair, every stubbed toe, every short pay check and every blessing we receive. Spiritual debt is a sort of  barometer about our journey and helps us understand the bigger picture. If we  are constantly attracting a similar situation- it’s a big clue we need to look into that and figure out what’s up so we can be more attentive to receiving the  healing opportunities coming our way.

If something comes over and over again, it’s because we’re not getting it. Time to take inventory, get straight in the  heart and open up to be guided down the sometimes hard healing path that always leads to bliss beyond imagination.  Recurring issues are also a great time to contact your psychic spiritual adviser for another view into the journey.

In Egyptian mythology- at death, the  heart of the deceased is weighed on a scale opposite an ostrich feather. If the heart weighs more than the feather, it gets eaten by a big scary monster. If it weighs less- it goes to paradise. What’s being said here? Heaven is a place of  NO BAGGAGE! The heart that weighs less than a feather is the heart with no  baggage and no attachment to false things.

This is a heart who has lived life in accords with cosmic law and personal journey and who has walked out of life with  no deep obsessions/addictions to material things, and no sins of the self weighing on them. It’s a heart light enough to float to the unseen above!

In my revelation, I have experienced that at death- the only judgment is  between the soul and a mirror. In the soul-state that exists when we are not  attached to the psychical body and the material world- great clarity and wisdom is present. WE define how we could have done better, how we might have avoided  lessons or healing that tried and tried to manifest in our lives, how we did  good, etc. We decide what’s needed- and in that space it’s always the truth  because it’s OUR truth.

This view differs from many western beliefs as well  as the beliefs of many Hindu sects who house the term ‘Karma’, but coming to  this realization we are forced to take total accountability for our spiritual  actions and our path. The ‘Blame God’ game comes to a quick end and nothing  could be better for a soul!

Each of us is walking our own wheel of life- experiencing different things to help us know it all. Exploring who we are, who everyone else is and who the  Divine is. Learning by doing, loving by experiencing, respecting by seeing and  knowing by being. Simply following the intuitive cosmic laws that are inscribed  in each of our hearts will ensure that we walk the spiral journey with right  action and progress in our great path of healing and bliss.

Peace & Great Blessings on the path of  BECOMING!

Tarot card for this week ~ The Star

This weeks Tarot card as you can see is the Star. when it appears in a reading it can be after a time of loss, when we are at our lowest, a time when we are at our lowest ebb and just feel like giving up.

This weeks Tarot Card is The Star (14th ~ 20th September 2020)

The very centre of your heart is where life begins – the most beautiful place on earth.

Hello again everyone and thank you for taking time out to read this message, Here is your Tarot card for this week.

This weeks Tarot card as you can see is the Star. when it appears in a reading it can be after a time of loss, when we are at our lowest, a time when we are at our lowest ebb and just feel like giving up, wondering if it is all worthwhile, a time when all our efforts seem fruitless.

There are feeling of desperation throughout the world right now, the amount of change that is happening for all of us, all of us are going though it, each and everyone of us together being affected. Not to mention the amount of loss of lives across the world for so many people.

The Star cards message is one of hope, of renewed strength, a message to keep going, to dig deep, find that extra ounce of courage within you, to find that second wind and battle on because all is not lost. There is light from the Star to help you find your way.

How many of us have found ourselves completely lost, totally dejected, full of hurt and pain, wondering what is the point?, Why bother? A time when we have felt totally alone and believing no one could possibly understand our pain.

And during those times how many of us have found ourselves looking up to the stars, telling them our problems, looking for solace, sending out our silent prayers and wishes.

For those that know me or have taken time to read the messages that I send out to you each week, you will know that all of them, and all of the words are inspired by spirit and the angelic realms. I never know who will read the message or what their beliefs are, I just trust that the message will reach those who need to hear it.

The overwhelming message that comes through this week is one of real hope, to continue to believe in yourself and others, do not lose hope, and do not give up!

All of us have within us the ability to performs miracles, (our own little miracles) when we thought all was lost, that there’s no hope left, no end to the struggles we are enduring, a little light goes on within us, an idea pops into our head, or someone says something that triggers an idea, a thought within us, that shows and guides us the way to finding the solution to our problem.

The lady in the picture of this weeks card has caught her star, her glimmer of hope, she has found her self-belief, and is clinging on to it with all her strength, faith and belief that a way forward will be found, that there is a better future, that things will turn out okay, that all is not lost. That there is “light at the end of the tunnel”, “The Star is lighting the way”.

The spirit world, your loved ones from spirit, the angelic realms are asking you to dig deep, find your courage, your self-belief, your trust and your faith. Try your best to think positive thoughts, to take positive steps forward however small.

Remember we are energy, our thoughts, our feelings, our words are energy and what we give out is what we in turn receive. Do your best to keep all of them positive and let “your star guide you”. The star that is guiding you may just well be a loved one from spirit that is your guiding Star.

Don’t you know yet? It is your light that lights the worlds.

I will say it again as I always do, take some time out for yourself! It is allowed“!

Until next time…. please take care and stay safe.

Live Your Life, Your Way

Life is like a road. There are long and short roads; smooth and rocky roads; crooked and straight paths. In our life many roads would come our way as we journey through life.

Live Your Life, Your Way

Life is like a road. There are long and short roads; smooth and rocky roads; crooked and straight paths. In our life many roads would come our way as we journey through life. There are roads that lead to a life of single blessedness, marriage, and religious vocation. There are also roads that lead to fame and fortune on one hand, or isolation and poverty on the other. There are roads to happiness as there are roads to sadness, roads towards victory and jubilation, and roads leading to defeat and disappointment.

Just like any road, there are corners, detours, and crossroads in life. Perhaps the most perplexing road that you would encounter is a crossroad. With four roads to choose from and with limited knowledge on where they would go, which road will you take? What is the guarantee that we would choose the right one along the way? Would you take any road, or just stay where you are: in front of a crossroad?

There are no guarantees.

You do not really know where a road will lead you until you take it. There are no guarantees. This is one of the most important things you need to realise about life. Nobody said that choosing to do the right thing all the time would always lead you to happiness. Loving someone with all your heart does not guarantee that it would be returned. Gaining fame and fortune does not guarantee happiness.

Accepting a good word from an influential superior to cut your trip short up the career ladder is not always bad, especially if you are highly qualified and competent. There are too many possible outcomes, which your really cannot control. The only thing you have power over is the decisions that you will make, and how you would act and react to different situations.

Wrong decisions are always at hindsight.

Had you known that you were making a wrong decision, would you have gone along with it? Perhaps not, why would you choose a certain path when you know it would get you lost? Why make a certain decision if you knew from the very beginning that it is not the right one. It is only after you have made a decision and reflected on it that you realize its soundness. If the consequences or outcomes are good for you, then you have decided correctly. Otherwise, your decision was wrong.

Take the risk: Decide.

Since life offers no guarantee and you would never know that your decision would be wrong until you have made it, then you might as well take the risk and decide. It is definitely better than keeping yourself in limbo. Although it is true that one wrong turn could get you lost, it could also be that such a turn could be an opportunity for an adventure, moreover open more roads. It is all a matter of perspective.

You have the choice between being a lost traveller or an accidental tourist of life. But take caution that you do not make decisions haphazardly. Taking risks is not about being careless and stupid. Here are some pointers that could help you choose the best option in the face of life’s crossroads: · Get as many information as you can about your situation.

You cannot find the confidence to decide when you know so little about what you are faced with. Just like any news reporter, ask the 5 W’s: what, who, when, where, and why. What is the situation? Who are the people involved? When did this happen? Where is this leading? Why are you in this situation? These are just some of the possible questions to ask to know more about your situation. This is important. Oftentimes, the reason for indecision is the lack of information about a situation.

· Identify and create options. What options do the situation give you? Sometimes the options are few, but sometimes they are numerous. But what do you do when you think that the situation offers no options? This is the time that you create your own. Make your creative mind work.

From the most simplistic to the most complicated, entertain all ideas. Do not shoot anything down when an idea comes to your head. Sometimes the most outrageous idea could prove to be the right one in the end. You can ask a friend to help you identify options and even make more options if you encounter some difficulty, but make sure that you make the decision yourself in the end.

Weigh the pros and cons of every option.

Assess each option by looking at the advantages and disadvantages it offers you. In this way, you get more insights about the consequences of such an option.

Trust yourself and make that decision.

Now that you have assessed your options, it is now time to trust yourself. Remember that there are no guarantees and wrong decisions are always at hindsight. So choose… decide… believe that you are choosing the best option at this point in time.

Now that you have made a decision, be ready to face its consequences: good and bad. It may take you to a place of promise or to a land of problems. But the important thing is that you have chosen to live your life instead of remaining a bystander or a passive audience to your own life. Whether it is the right decision or not, only time can tell. But do not regret it whatever the outcome. Instead, learn from it and remember that you always have the chance to make better decisions in the future. And be careful!

Health and Negativity ~ How Negative Emotions Can Harm Your Health

Our negative thoughts can wreck havoc on our physical and mental health. While the effects on our mental health are obvious, most of us ignore or do not  understand how negativity takes a toll on our physical well being. We all know  that negative emotions add to our stress levels, we are also aware of the fact  the prolonged anxiety and stress can lead to heart diseases and many psychological problems, but what we don’t understand or are perhaps unaware of is the fact that negative emotions have physical manifestations on our health!

Feelings like anger, insecurity, anxiety, jealousy etc can not only trigger aches, pains, or illness in the body but can also  hamper our recovery.

To be able to understand how our negative emotions affect our health we need to be aware of the symbolism of our bodies. For instance our face symbolises our  outer appearance i.e. what we show to the world, any problem with the face would  mean that we hold negative thoughts about how the world perceives us. Similarly our eyes represent our ability to see and perceive, a problem; poor vision may  mean that we are stopping ourselves from acknowledging the truth or seeing  things as they really are.

The following are some simple examples which illustrate how our negative feelings may be affecting our health:

When we do not express ourselves freely or are unable to stand up for  ourselves it may affect the throat. The throat represents our ability to speak  up. Any stifling of self-expression, creativity or our feelings can lead to  problems like tonsillitis and sore throat. When the inability to express oneself  is combined with bottled up anger it can lead to even more serious throat  problems like laryngitis.

Our hearts symbolise our ability to love; heart problems could therefore be  the result of holding yourself back from expressing love, self-loathing, negative self-talk and thinking, feeling you do not deserve to love or to be  loved, resentment and hatred.

Our backs ‘support’ our bodies, any problems with the back could mean  feeling scattered, fearing over-burdened with problems or fearing that life may  not support you. A problem with the upper back could be related to stress or  feeling your loved ones are not supporting you and lower back problems could be related to financial worries  (feeling “unsupported” financially).

Our stomachs symbolise our ability to digest and assimilate. When you can’t  accept (digest) a new idea or experience, your stomach may show symptoms.  Indigestion problems could be related to not accepting change, new ideas,  situations, or people in your life.

Using these examples as guidelines can help to understand the symbolic meaning of every body part. Once we understand this symbolism we can probe  deeper into every illness and see if it’s cause lies somewhere in our thought  process or if our thinking pattern is in any way hampering our recovery.

Daily Guidance ~ Forgiveness

Forgiveness is for a lot of us one of the hardest thing to do. We hold on to the pain for some of us for a lifetime and still take that pain with us when it's our time to return to the spirit world.

Forgiveness is for a lot of us one of the hardest thing to do. We hold on to the pain for some of us for a lifetime and still take that pain with us when it’s our time to return to the spirit world, we just can not let go, we just can not forgive.

From a spiritual perspective as part of the message from the card says;

“Holding on to resentment and anger is preventing or even suffocating your spiritual growth”

After all isn’t that what part of forgiveness is, Resentment and Anger? Unable to let go of the hurt, upset, feeling of anger that someone or a situation caused for you, resenting the feelings that they or the situation gave you?

The Act of Forgiveness as the card again says can be one of the “most damaging of human emotions”. This is true because not only can it affect our present life by affecting our current beliefs, relationships and how we portray ourselves to the outside world, it can also affect our health, mentally, physically and emotionally, because we are holding on to a memory that is very painful for us.

Is forgiveness really about releasing a painful memory?

A question we could all ask ourselves, because the moment someone has done something or said something to hurt us then has it not has already happened? If so then that means it is already in the past, and if so then becomes a memory doesn’t it?

This then leads me onto the next point about forgiveness because who is forgiveness for? The person or situation that hurt you or is it for you? Ask yourself if by you holding onto the anger, hurt, upset and feelings that you are (the “memory” of the event) who is hurting the most? The person who or situation that caused these feelings within you or you? If it was a person for example they may have no feelings of regret for what they have said or done and therefore have already let the memory of the event go! So you are the only one who is getting the continuous feeling of hurt (the memory) aren’t you?

What we must remember is that forgiveness is not for the person or situation that caused all those negative feelings for us or within us. Forgiveness is about releasing the “memory” of the event and letting it go. The person, the situation if we so choose we can release from our life and never allow them to return. But unless we release the memory the pain will stay with us.

I will leave you with thoughts and some more words from the card…

The act of forgiveness in it’s own right is equally incredibly powerful and it has the capacity to heal and transform

As I always say….  “take some time out for yourself! It is allowed

Until next time please take care and stay safe
