Boost your psychic antenna.

Boost your psychic antenna.

Are you conscious of the presence of ghosts and spirits around you? Do you find you’re able to accurately predict things before they happen? Are you extra sensitive to the feelings and emotions of others? If so, it’s likely you were born with a “antenna” that’s tuned into to the frequency of the Spirit world!

People often ask me if anyone can be a psychic or medium. The answer is “It’s complicated.” It’s true that we’re all born with a natural sixth sense, but it manifests itself differently in everyone. Just like some people have extra sharp eyesight or hearing, a lucky few have a super-developed sixth sense. You might wonder how certain friends always seem to make the right choice, avoiding everything from traffic jams to toxic relationships. It’s likely they possess psychic ability or are able to receive messages from guides or spirits.

From the time I was a boy, I could see people who had passed. I was lucky enough to have a mother and grandmother who had lived through what I was experiencing, and could help me understand my gift. Even with their support and guidance, there were times when I felt scared and different from the other kids – but as I got older I realized my mediumship was a blessing I could use to heal and inspire others.

If you have spiritual gifts, I encourage you to work on enhancing them. Like a muscle, your psychic and mediumistic abilities will get stronger and more accurate with focus and awareness. Even if you never plan to go into business as a psychic or medium, developing your spiritual gifts can benefit you in ways you might not have thought of.

Boost your psychic antenna.

Here are some ways a strong spirit connection can make life better for you and the people around you.

• Your sixth sense gives you a career edge – especially if you are in a profession that’s people focused. Before I dedicated myself to mediumship full-time, I was working toward becoming an EMT. As I pursued that path, I found my sensitivity and intuition to be invaluable tools when dealing with injured and frightened people.

• Your intuition can assist you in finding your soul-mate. Trusting your gut is the key to looking past the surface to find someone who if a perfect fit for you – spiritually, mentally and physically!

• The universe will signal when you’re on the right path. How many times have you been faced with a tough choice, and wished that someone or something would give you a nudge in the right direction. With a little practice, you can recognize the signs Spirit sends you, and proceed confidently on your way.

• Sensing the presence of spirit around you gives you a whole new perspective on life. I love having the opportunity to relay spirit messages to others, and as the medium, I find I can always learn something from the insights they share.

• Your sensitivity can help make the world a more compassionate place. Listen when your intuition signals that a stranger might benefit from a smile or a kind word. You’re simple act could make a big difference in someone’s life!

You are what you think…

You are what you think is a well known mantra.

You are what you think…

You are what you think is a well known mantra.  To helps prepare your mind and allow your spirit to blend with this truth, I have listed 5 points below that I hope will help you:

Forgive.

Let go of past hurts and mistakes. What has been said, or what has been done are all things of the past. They happened for a reason and we should learn from both the lessons and from those experiences. There is so much more ahead requiring our best efforts and energy. We cannot afford to carry the additional burden of past mistakes. Forgive yourself for your past mistakes, forgive others for theirs and move on. Feel the peace in your heart and be renewed.

Don’t look back look ahead.

Looking back and worrying about events or incidents that have occurred are of no  benefit to us. They cannot be altered and the mental energy used  on dwelling over them is wasted energy. It is better to conserve such energy for creating new images and new visions for a new future.

Break free of resentment.

Resentment stops progress. It is a mental resistance to something that has happened and over which we do not have any control. Resentment to an injustice, to having been treated unfairly, negatively and so on distracts us and weakens our spirit. Resolve to harness the energy and direct it towards a higher purpose.

Stop feelings of guilt.

One of the most powerful negative emotions.  Guilt leads to a poor self-image. To be rid of guilt or to reduce the damage it can cause, we can act on what we feel guilty about. If it is about being selfish, share more at the next opportunity. If it is about not being kind and caring, be more generous and concerned in the future. We need to do what it takes to cut off from the guilt. We cannot afford to dwell on guilt and let it drag us down.

Clear mental blocks.

There is nothing that we should hold onto or detach from if we want to free our spirit to grow and develop. Mental blocks obstruct our potential and stop the free flow of creative energy. Mental blocks take up valuable space which we need to free up and make available for creating the new wonderful images that we desire.

Whatever challenges life throws at us,  we can face those challenge and work at overcoming them. We have an unlimited and powerful spirit and also power of the mind, if we choose to work at developing and allowing  ourselves to use them.

You are what you think….

Exploring the Past ~ Past Life Regression

Exploring the Past ~ Past Life Regression. I will never forget my first past life regression.

I will never forget my first past life regression.

I had been searching for spiritual meaning for quite some time, what the church was teaching just didn’t seem to answer all my questions, there seemed to be something missing, it wasn’t that I didn’t believe church doctrine, but there had to be more.

I had been sensing that there was really life after death, not the life most of us had bought into, but a real life on real planet earth, I had seen visions of my living in a different time and place, a time before the twentieth century.

It was time to investigate.

As I read the local paper one evening, I came upon an ad a local hypnotist had placed, the ad said he could cure smoking with hypnotism, my interest was peaked. I had read how people had undergone hypnosis and recalled lives they led in a time before this one.

This was new uncharted territory and it took some time before I mustered up the courage to call him.

Finally, I decided I could delay it no longer, this was something I had to do, regardless of the outcome.

My wife and I had been having some marital issues, and I thought that perhaps I could find answers that would help solve the issues we were having.

Talking with Tom, he stated he had only done three past life sessions, that didn’t peak my confidence any, but decided to do it anyway, what did I have to lose?

The session went quite well, I regressed to two lifetimes I sensed having lived. One was in ancient Egypt and one lifetime was during th American Revolution.

After overcoming my initial shock of the reality of it all, I began to realize that is was the only thing that ever made sense to me, it answered all the questions I had about why people do and think the things they do and think.

If people carry these memories over from lifetime to lifetime, I could understand why we feel about certain people the way we do. If we remember how we related to people in the past and how they related to us, that would explain many of our relationships today.

It wold also help us understand people of different ethnic and sexual preferences, if we realized at some period, we may have lived as a different gender, race, or sexual orientation, it wold be hard to have any ill feelings toward those people today.

Past Life

I couldn’t wait to share what I had learned, I thought many people would be overjoyed at this new knowledge.

Boy, was I wrong, my wife thought I had finally gone off the deep end and needed psychiatric help, a couple of the friends I had shared what I was planning on doing never believed a word of what I said.

Man! What a let down. How I could I be so thrilled at what I discovered, the truth I had been seeking when everyone else was not only not interested but couldn’t comprehend anything I had experienced, and didn’t seem to care?

It didn’t deter me, I keep studying and learning, and over the years I have for the most part encountered the same response from those I have shared the knowledge with.

Most people are stuck in their own little box, regardless of how open minded they proclaim to be, there are certain boundaries they won’t cross.

I have discovered the knowledge we acquire, especially in this field of past life, is for our own spiritual growth and in many times no one else. They are on their own path and they will learn in their own time.

I have traversed the globe in search of truth, my truth, during which time I have had an opportunity to study with Aborigine elders, native American Indians, and some of the world’s finest intuitives. All of this has lead me to better understand our world and all things therein contained.

I have created a website to share some of my adventures and knowledge as I see it.

I have written several books and am available for book signings and speaking engagements.

Fear, Worry and Doubt – The Enemies of Your Self.

Fear, Worry and Doubt - The Enemies of Your Self.

Fear, Worry and Doubt – The Enemies of Your Self.

Do you feel sometimes as being in the middle of a desert? When you started you had a clear vision of your goals, but now you don’t know any more whether you are going in a right direction, you have begun to fear, worry and doubt. This is usually the moment we leave the right path and start going around in circles.

I was once doing my research in the Middle East and took a taxi to go somewhere, but my taxi driver didn’t have faith in me, and every time I asked  him to go straight, he turned right or left. Thus, I wasted lot of time driving  around in circles until he decided to trust me and we reached our destination. Worry and fear cause doubt which is the biggest reason of all the failures in  our lives. Our confidence is cut off when we are fearful and worried.

We often let worry take over our lives, as worry is almost our God. Atkinson says that “a man may worry himself to death and yet nothing will be accomplished, but when he transmutes his worry and discontent into desire and belief, then something happens.”

Rev. Christopher Ian Chenoweth compares worrying to being in a rocking chair. You are rocking back and forth, back and forth – you feel like you are doing something, but you are not getting anywhere. You are just mentally and physically  tiring yourself out. Thinking about all the things that could be wrong or go wrong doesn’t make your life any more controllable or safer.  Mark Twain  said once: “I’ve suffered a great many catastrophes in my life. Most of them  never happened”.

99% of what we worry about, never come to pass. Worry can never accomplish anything. Worry is negative and destructive. William Walker Atkinson claims in his book “Thought Vibration Or the Law of Attraction in the Thought World” that worry is the child of fear – if you kill out fear, worry will die for want of nourishment.

The act of worrying is using your imagination and emotion to create something you do not want. If you are in a situation where you haven’t got any results in  achieving your goals, and you start to question and doubt, you are moving away  from your goals. Joseph Murphy states that our subconscious mind creates our  reality through the pictures we accept  and hold.

If you have been doing affirmations over a period of years and still  getting nowhere, it would be wise to look inwardly at the pictures that you have  been holding about yourself. If you are not sure, if you doubt, then it will not come to pass, because the messages you send to your subconscious mind are controversial and you sabotage your goals. That is why we fail to manifest what  we want.

Brad Yates provides an example how contradictory thoughts influence our manifestation. If we imagine ourselves going to a restaurant and ordering a  hamburger, but immediately as the waiter walks away, you say, “I really  shouldn’t have that. Maybe I should order a salad. Or maybe I should have a  sandwich.” The waiter stands there waiting for you to make up your mind, and you  wonder why you don’t have your hamburger yet.

Our subconscious mind is like this waiter, he can’t serve us if we send contradictory signals to it. Some people  try visualising and affirming what they want for a moment, but then they spend  the rest of the time undoing this creation by worrying and doubting. Joseph Murphy reminds us that when our desires and imagination are in conflict, our imagination invariably wins. Ron Holland confirms it in his book “Eureka Enigma”  by saying that when the words and the pictures are in conflict it is always the pictures that win.

Rev. Chenoweth advises to say to yourself: “The worry stops here!” You must do it at the moment when you  feel worried, not later. Focus only on what you desire. Do not focus on your fear of not achieving your goal. If you doubt it, then it will not come to pass. Chenoweth says that if we see our problem as a heavy rope, it seems to be strong and unbreakable. And yet this rope is made of individual strands.

If you would take it apart, it would be easy to break these strands even with bare hands. If you stop worrying and trying too hard to get solutions consciously, your subconscious mind will solve problems for you, and you start to move intuitively in the right direction.

You have to shift your awareness to your desired reality in order to draw it into manifestation. The key is to feel comfortable with  thinking, talking and acting in a state where your desire is already a reality. This means that you must relax and release all stress related to achieving your  goal.  You have the power to bring yourself into harmony with who you really are – a being that has infinite possibilities of experiencing great success in life.

Karma demystified… sort of!

Karma. It's a term that gets thrown around a lot these days and many of us have a good idea about what it is...or do we?

Karma demystified… sort of!

Karma. It’s a term that gets thrown around a lot these days and many of us have a good idea about what it is…or do we?

‘Karma’ is a Sanskrit word with several layers of translation- some being  ‘wheel’, ‘balance’ and ‘debt’. The Hindu faithful use the word Karma to denote  both shallow and deep aspects of an individual soul’s journey from this life  into the next based on spiritual debt and  needed experiences. Karma is the ‘baggage’ we have as spirit souls- it is both  what we are here in this life to deal  with and what we take with us to the next. Whatever Karma you have right now  defines where you’ve been- and the Karma you have when you die defines where  you’re headed.

Let’s clear up from the get go that ‘good Karma’ is not good at all. Having  ‘good Karma’ will require a soul to take rebirth in order to burn it off. If we  want complete transcendence- zero Karma is the way to go! Good Karma and good living are two different things. We annihilate bad Karma by being good (charity, selfless service, prayer, etc.), and gain bad karma by being naughty (hate, violence, anger, envy, malice, lies, etc.).

Let’s look at this another way…

Let’s say someone is born into a socialite family- wants for nothing, gets a great education, has excellent health, general good luck, etc. We can assume  (although not absolutely define for certain) that in a past life, this person  did compassionate and selfless works that led them to a positive/good Karmic  load in this life. If all of this goes to their head- the good turns sour and  next time around they get just about the opposite to learn and KNOW the  lessons.

Now, if we look at someone who experiences about the opposite in life-  poverty, ill health, bad luck; we can safely assume that in a past life they may  have abused abundance, cosmic laws or their own life journey. It happens and  we’re ALL guilty of acting against our bigger nature. How do I know that?  because we’re all here!

Sometimes Karma can seem like such a harsh judgment! Who decides when our  actions are negative or positive? Who hands out the ruling and defines how our  next lifetime will roll so that we learn and experience all that we need to rectify toxic behaviours/beliefs and get closer to truth?

We  do!

All of our soul baggage is like a coloured filter, and our soul is  like a bright light. What we project- we attract. If we have acted against the self in a past life- or last week for that matter, a filter is created over the  light of the soul and as the light shines through it- circumstances resonant  with that behaviour come our way… in a big way. We shine forth on a subtle  spiritual level exactly who we are- and the cosmos responds to that light.

If we are impatient- we shine impatience on the subtle level and thus attract  situations that will challenge and thus heal our impatience. You know, you only  get stuck in traffic when you are an impatient person! Once you master patience there’s no need to be stuck in traffic so it doesn’t happen anymore.

The goal of understanding Karma, or spiritual debt as I call it outside the Hindu specifics of the term- is so we can understand the why’s and how’s of  life.

Nothing is chance- everything, and I mean EVERYTHING we experience comes to  us for the sole purpose of enlightening, healing and empowering us. That’s every blissful love affair, every stubbed toe, every short pay check and every blessing we receive. Spiritual debt is a sort of  barometer about our journey and helps us understand the bigger picture. If we  are constantly attracting a similar situation- it’s a big clue we need to look into that and figure out what’s up so we can be more attentive to receiving the  healing opportunities coming our way.

If something comes over and over again, it’s because we’re not getting it. Time to take inventory, get straight in the  heart and open up to be guided down the sometimes hard healing path that always leads to bliss beyond imagination.  Recurring issues are also a great time to contact your psychic spiritual adviser for another view into the journey.

In Egyptian mythology- at death, the  heart of the deceased is weighed on a scale opposite an ostrich feather. If the heart weighs more than the feather, it gets eaten by a big scary monster. If it weighs less- it goes to paradise. What’s being said here? Heaven is a place of  NO BAGGAGE! The heart that weighs less than a feather is the heart with no  baggage and no attachment to false things.

This is a heart who has lived life in accords with cosmic law and personal journey and who has walked out of life with  no deep obsessions/addictions to material things, and no sins of the self weighing on them. It’s a heart light enough to float to the unseen above!

In my revelation, I have experienced that at death- the only judgment is  between the soul and a mirror. In the soul-state that exists when we are not  attached to the psychical body and the material world- great clarity and wisdom is present. WE define how we could have done better, how we might have avoided  lessons or healing that tried and tried to manifest in our lives, how we did  good, etc. We decide what’s needed- and in that space it’s always the truth  because it’s OUR truth.

This view differs from many western beliefs as well  as the beliefs of many Hindu sects who house the term ‘Karma’, but coming to  this realization we are forced to take total accountability for our spiritual  actions and our path. The ‘Blame God’ game comes to a quick end and nothing  could be better for a soul!

Each of us is walking our own wheel of life- experiencing different things to help us know it all. Exploring who we are, who everyone else is and who the  Divine is. Learning by doing, loving by experiencing, respecting by seeing and  knowing by being. Simply following the intuitive cosmic laws that are inscribed  in each of our hearts will ensure that we walk the spiral journey with right  action and progress in our great path of healing and bliss.
