Do you talk with yourself? When we hear people talking aloud with themselves we consider it weird. But have you noticed that all people, with no exception, talk silently with themselves? This, we do not consider odd or weird.

If someone hurts you in some way, or says something you do not like, what do you do? You enact a whole scene of anger in your mind! You envision yourself talking angrily; you shout at them and tell them some not so nice things. Sometimes people spend hours in such negative, destructive inner dialogues.

There is a continuous conversation going on in everyone’s head, and a lot of energy, time and attention are wasted on small unimportant incidents. This conversation goes on from the moment of waking until falling asleep.

The inner dialogue continues while working, studying, reading, watching TV, talking, walking, eating, etc. There is a constant judging of people, commenting on what is going on, planning, gossiping, and mental conversations with people.

These inner dialogues bring about a snowball effect. The more we conduct them, the more we become chained to them and unable to stop them. When the emotions are also evoked, more power, energy and attachment are added. This has an adverse effect on the behavior, judgment and general performance.

On many occasions the inner dialogue is negative and strengthens any negative attitude and behavior. Few people have enough faith in themselves and in their abilities, so as to conduct positive inner dialogues. The process and effect of these inner conversations is similar to affirmations.

Constant thinking about the same subject influences the subconscious mind, which consequently accepts these thoughts and words and acts on them. Negative inner dialogues bring negative results, and positive inner dialogues bring positive results.

You can use this process to your advantage. It is an automatic activity, which goes on whether you are aware of it or not. If you learn to become aware of it, you gain the ability to control it. You can turn it into a positive dialogue. If you do that, you come to realize that you have a mighty power in your possession.

Try to be aware of your thoughts. Calmly watch what is going in your mind, even if after a few moments you may forget to do that. The inner dialogue goes on even when physically you are engaged with something else. It is not so easy to mentally separate oneself from the thoughts and words the flow through the mind.

Over and over again endeavor to keep your attention of what is going inside your head, and eventually you will be able to become aware of the inner dialogue for longer times. Watching the mind and what is going on inside it develops detachment. Detachment gives a better control of the mind and its chatter.

Whenever you catch yourself conducting a useless, futile conversation with yourself, stop it. Change it to something more useful. Replace the subject, and the words. It is like running an audiotape. Why not replace it with another tape that you like? Why let this tape play by itself? Change the words of the inner dialogue to positive ones about good health, happiness and success.

There is another thing you can do, but this needs concentration and will power. You can try to stop this inner conversation altogether. Try to ignore it and give your mind a vacation. Let the mind rest for a little while. Life can certainly go on, even when this dialogue is silenced. For a little while, enjoy some rest from the mind’s incessant conversation.

The inner dialogue is fine sometimes, but most of the time it is just incessant useless chatter, which distract the attention from what you are doing at each moment. By becoming aware of it, and replacing it with a positive one, or just refusing to become involved with it, you gain the ability to control it.

Can you imagine what could emerge in the world if all of us were living the life of our grandest dreams?

It would be great! Yet there seems to be a large gap between what most of us want and what we really get.

Have you ever found yourself feeling helpless because your doctor can’t seem to figure out your illness or ailment? Or your therapist understands what the problem is (even tells you how to fix it) but no matter how hard you consciously try, you keep making the same mistakes.

The power to manifest the life you desire is truly inside you – in your subconscious mind.  And I’m living proof that Focused and Intention is one of the most effective ways to access and clear old subconscious patterns that are holding you back from the life you really want.

My personal healing journey has been one of triumph over adversity but I would not honestly change a single event in my life.   Each moment – good or bad – has contributed to deepening my inner knowing so I can share my gifts with the world. For the past 20 years I have made it my personal mission to create a safe place on Earth so people can journey to their full potential with comfort and integrity.  Through my own personal growth the Creator has shown me the way to loving teachers with powerful healing modalities.

Our beliefs are magnetic forces that attract or repel things from us. The Law of Attraction, popularised by the movie The Secret, states that the imagination of sensory detail of our future life and the things that we wish to have in our life actually cause their manifestation – because the universe attracts to us all things that are in harmony with the mental and emotional energies of our projection.

This is a law of the energetic universe – like energies attract like energies. Create energy with your mind and the universe answers with the same kind of energy. The better you craft your energetic ideas, the more elaborate the universe’s response will be.

The catch is our subconscious mind puts out energy of enormous magnitude, dwarfing whatever our conscious mind projects. Crippling and limiting beliefs in the subconscious prevent us from manifesting what we consciously want. Therefore, however inspiring it may be, it is not enough to watch The Secret or read dozens of books published on this basic law of nature, unless you access and improve the contents of your subconscious mind.

With focus and intention healing you can connect with your source and produce profound changes in your subconscious beliefs and your life.

One man I worked with had the belief: “It’s not safe to speak my true feelings.”  Each and every time he tried, he was overcome with heavy guilt and shame. On numerous occasions he tried changing the belief with positive thinking and with the law of attraction but he never had lasting results. When we got to the core of his belief using focus and intention he instantly felt a weight being lifted from his shoulders.

He regained his self confidence and was able to speak what he needed without the heavy weight of guilt.   His conscious mind was no longer being fed a command from his subconscious mind that is was unsafe to share his feelings.   After he felt safe and confident when the limiting belief system was changed and he was finally able to take care of his personal needs which included getting out of a five year abusive relationship.

We develop beliefs at a very early age from our caregivers, our experiences and our environments. These beliefs are stored in our subconscious mind which then plays the same tapes over and over. This is why we tend to react the same old ways, even in new situations.

The great news is that we have the ability to consciously evaluate our responses to environmental stimuli and change old responses. According to the holistic model our being is made up of spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects.  What we believe affects what we think, what we feel and what we do. Science now confirms that our beliefs even profoundly and directly affect our biology!

For example, if I don’t BELIEVE people can be trusted, I might think people want to hurt me. If I THINK people want to hurt me that is going to affect how I FEEL because energy follows thought.  If I feel fear towards people, that will affect the choices I make and what I DO. If I fear relationships, I will not let people get close physically which could lead to feeling disconnected and alone or create health problems. Once I become aware of how this belief affects me I can change my belief with Theta Healing to create a broader conscious awareness.

Events that happened in our life that we don’t finish processing get held in our energetic field on all levels. These unfinished events have a big hidden influence on many of the choices we make and the things we do or don’t do.

The trick to getting rid of unwanted beliefs and values is to be able to learn how to spot them.  First, pay attention when something happens that ‘pushes your buttons.’  Second, stop and listen inside. The secret is in the momentary gap – AFTER the outside event and BEFORE your feelings about it.

When we stimulate the mind and clear negative thought impulses, we can raise the vibration of the brain action to a place in which new creative solutions to problems arise and you are able to manifest anything that you wish to attract into your life.

Every time you identify the belief and use focus and intention on yourself or others you are bringing more balance to your life and raising your vibration level because the more negative thought impulses you clear out from your subconscious, the more you will connect to this creative flow. When you no longer are RE-acting toward life, you begin to become present to the infinite possibilities held in each moment.

I imagine that some of you may have thought: “I’d love to change, but I don’t know how.” Some of you are probably scared to take steps to change, while some of you have just been waiting for the right time. Well now is that right time.

I want to invite you to take the opportunity to remove an obstacle that’s been in your way, take on an issue that you’ve been ignoring, address one of your integrity issues, find the courage to get help with one of your addictions, uncover one of your biggest lies, give up a grudge or an insecurity, face one of your biggest fears, and to be able to enthusiastically finish this sentence: “Thank God I finally handled__________________!”

The power of the mind draws certain events, circumstances and people into our lives and repels others. In this respect, it resembles a magnet. Just look at the people around you. Some pass through certain events and circumstances, while others pass through different experiences. Some accomplish certain things easily, and others accomplish these same things with great difficulty or not at all.

Your mind is composed of the thoughts you think. These thoughts are like magnetic currents. If you think positively about some event or action, you get positive results. If you harbour negative thoughts, this negativity is drawn into your life.

You attract into your life what you think about frequently. It does not mean that every thought gets materialized. Most of the thoughts are weak and are not repeated long enough to gain sufficient strength. Weak thoughts, like a weak magnet, hardly have any attractive power.

You have seen how a magnet draws metal objects. A strong and big magnet draws bigger objects than a small and weak one. Magnets have another peculiar characteristic. One side of the magnet draws, and the other side repels.

The power of attraction is a neutral power. The magnet draws to itself everything made of iron, no matter whether it is a useful object or junk. The mind acts in the same way. It attracts into your life positive and negative situations and events, according to the thoughts that you think.

Like the magnet the mind does not only attract, but also repels. If you do not believe that you can get or accomplish something, then you repel it. Thoughts of incompetence, weakness, fear and inferiority create a repellent force. It is as if you are creating a wind that blows away and prevents certain things to reach you.

There are several ways to charge your mind and thoughts with magnetic power. Strong desire, concentration and faith are some of the important ingredients for infusing power into thoughts.

Many activate the magnetic power of their mind unconsciously, without knowing what they are doing. When you know the rules, you become able to activate the magnetic power of your mind consciously, positively and effectively.

Visualizing and thinking with concentration, desire and faith, and repeating these thoughts often, unleashes powerful energy. Your thoughts get radiated and broadcasted, influencing the minds of other people, and attracting to you people who think along the same lines as you do and who can help you with your plans. This process also heightens your awareness and perceptiveness of any opportunity connected with your thoughts that comes your way, and fills you with the inner power and initiative to utilize it.

Why not become conscious of your thoughts, choose to think the ones that are beneficial for you, and consciously and advantageously utilize the power of attraction? You can attract people, circumstances, events, possessions or a life style with the magnetic power of attraction of your mind.

Remember, what you think about intently, with attention and feeling is attracted to you. It can be material and it can be spiritual. The power of attraction is a universal power and manifests everywhere and in everything. It is the power that holds the Universe together. Without it there would not be any world.

Your Thoughts Create Your Reality

Thought power is the key to creating your reality. Everything you perceive in the physical world has its origin in the invisible, inner world of your thoughts and beliefs. To become the master of your destiny, you must learn to control the nature of your dominant, habitual thoughts.

Everything you perceive in the physical world has its origin in the invisible, inner world of your thoughts and beliefs. To become the master of your destiny, you must learn to control the nature of your dominant, habitual thoughts. By doing so you will be able to attract into your life anything you desire with exact precision as you come to know the Truth that your thoughts create your reality.

For Every Outside Effect There is an Inner Cause:

Every effect you see in your outside or physical world has a very specific cause which has its origin in your inner or mental world. This is the essence of thought power. Put another way, the conditions and circumstances of your life are as a result of your thoughts and beliefs. James Allen said it best when he said “circumstances do not make a man, they reveal him”. Every aspect of your life, from the state of your finances to the state of your health and your relationships, is accurately revealing your thoughts and your beliefs.

It’s an Inside Job:

Most people have it back to front, believing that they feel or think a certain way because of their circumstances, not knowing the truth that it is their thought power that is creating those very circumstances, whether wanted or unwanted. By internalising and applying this Truth, that your thoughts create your reality, you will grant yourself the power to create the changes you desire to see manifest in your life. Reality creation is an inside job.

Your Thought Power is Limitless:

There is a single, intelligent Consciousness that pervades the entire Universe – all powerful, all knowing, all creative and present everywhere at the same time – the Universal Mind. Your mind is part of this One Universal Mind and since your thoughts are a product of your mind, it follows that your thought power too is limitless. Once you truly understand that your mind is one with the Single Source of All Power and that this power is within you, you will have found the only true source of infinite power for which nothing is impossible and impossible is nothing. Know that thought power comes from within. All power comes from within.

Your Thoughts are Alive:

The greatest mystics and teachers that have walked the Earth have told us that everything is energy. This fundamental Truth has now been undeniably confirmed by modern science. Your thoughts too are energy. William Walker Atkinson told us that “where mind is static energy, thought is dynamic energy – two phases of the same thing” and Charles Haanel went on to say that “thought power is the vibratory force formed by converting static mind into dynamic mind”. Your thoughts are alive. Each time you entertain a specific thought, you emit a very specific, corresponding frequency or energy vibration.

What Frequency Are You On:

The basic premise of the Law of Attraction is that like energy attracts like energy. You attract to yourself those things and circumstances that are in vibrational harmony with your dominant frequency, which is itself determined by your dominant mental attitude, habitual thoughts and beliefs. Mike Dooley, one of the presenters of the movie The Secret, fittingly suggests if you want to know what a thought looks like, just look around you. Keep in mind his three words “thoughts are things”.

Not All Thoughts Are Created Equal:

The attractive power of any particular thought is determined by how often you have that thought and by the strength of the feelings or emotions associated with it. The more energy you give to a particular thought, the greater its power to attract its corresponding circumstance into your physical world through the Law of Attraction.

Your one-off, passing thoughts do not have the same creative power as your habitual thoughts and beliefs. Remember, that it is of little use to entertain positive thoughts for just a short burst of time each day if you then proceed to think negative or unwanted thoughts for the rest of the day. Your reality is the sum total of all your thoughts.

Use Thought Power to Change Your Life:

It is your subconscious mind that is the store house of your deep-seated beliefs and programmes. To change your circumstances and attract to yourself that which you desire, you must learn to programme and re-programme your subconscious mind. Since your mind is one with the all-powerful Universal Mind, the potential power of your subconscious mind is also limitless.

The most effective and practical way to programme your subconscious mind for success in all areas of your life is to learn the simple process of creative visualisation. It is the technique underlying reality creation, making use of thought power to consciously imagine, create and attract that which you desire. Your imagination is the engine of your thoughts. It converts your thought power into mental images.

Become Aware of Your Thoughts But Not Obsessed:

It is important that you learn to be aware of your habitual thoughts and to appropriately adjust them so as to maintain an overall positive mental attitude. However, be careful not to become obsessed with every thought that enters your mind as this would be equally counter-productive, if not more so, than not being aware of them at all.

Remember that to obsess over your negative, unwanted thoughts, is to give them power and as the saying goes, what you resist persists. So instead of resisting any of your negative thoughts, simply learn to effortlessly cancel them by replacing them as they arise.

Instantly Replace Unwanted Thoughts:

To instantly neutralise the power of a negative thought, calmly and deliberately replace it with its opposite, positive equivalent. For instance if you think to yourself “I’m not good enough, I will never succeed”, mentally replace the thought with “I am good enough and success comes to me easily”.

You can also use the “cancel cancel” technique made famous by the Silva Method. Each time you catch yourself thinking an unwanted thought, mentally tell yourself and the Universe “cancel cancel” and immediately follow it up with a positive statement.

Tame Your Dominant Thoughts and the Random Will Follow:

It is estimated that the average person has between 12,000 and 70,000 thoughts a day. This is evidence enough to suggest that your goal should not be to control every thought. It is your dominant thoughts and beliefs that you must learn to bring under your conscious control as they are what largely determine your mental attitude. As you do, you will find your random thoughts themselves becoming more positive and more deliberate.

The following words of Siddhartha Gautama Buddha perfectly capture the essence of thought power: “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.”

In a nutshell, your life is the perfect mirror of your thoughts, beliefs and dominant mental attitude. Whether you realise it or not you are already creating your reality through your thought power. Every effect you see in your outside world has its original cause within you – no exceptions.

To gain access to the greatest creative power at your disposal, you must learn to control the nature of your habitual thoughts and to align yourself with the One Source of All Power of which you are a part. Your thoughts create your reality – know, internalise and apply this Truth and you will see your life transform in miraculous ways.

7. Thought = creation. If these thoughts are attached to powerful emotions (good or bad) that speeds the creation.

10. It’s not “wishful” thinking.

12. Choose your thoughts carefully .. you are a masterpiece of your life.


13. It’s OK that thoughts don’t manifest into reality immediately (if we saw a picture of an elephant and it instantly appeared, that would be too soon).


14. EVERYTHING in your life you have attracted .. accept that fact .. it’s true.


15. Your thoughts cause your feelings.


16. We don’t need to complicate all the “reasons” behind our emotions. It’s much simpler than that. Two categories .. good feelings, bad feelings.


17. Thoughts that bring about good feelings mean you are on the right track. Thoughts that bring about bad feelings means you are not on the right track.


18. Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is in the process of becoming.


19. You get exactly what you are FEELING.


20. Happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances
